As the college season starts to come to a close, I’ve been trying to see as many games and as many players as possible. This past weekend has been very entertaining, especially Friday night, where the University of Maryland beat UNC 2-1 in front of a packed home crowd at the Ludwig Stadium. What a great venue to play football and what an atmosphere!

Aside from looking at college players, there has been no shortage of local league games and competition, with some very good talent on show.

This week we are preparing for our 2nd tryout of November, which will be held at Mark Twain Park, in Rockville. We had a great turnout the last time round and expect a similar, positive show this Saturday.
