RYAN BUGARIN

Soccer
At the time of our interview, Bugarin had scored two goals for the Bruins, an annual county boys soccer contender, and each won a game by 1-0 over another contender in Chesapeake and Severna Park. The latter had just come when Bugarin drove in a loose ball in front of the cage with about 10 minutes left to deal the Falcons (7-1) their first loss and leave the Bruins 6-1-1. ?It felt so good defeating them,? says Bugarin. ?We lost two times to them last year. They?re our top rivals and one came in the playoffs. They?re the biggest rival we have.? Bugarin is a junior midfielder who is one of the key players on one of the county?s top three teams under coach Sean Tettemer. ?We have a really good coach, in coach Tettemer who gets us ready for every game and we are always well prepared,? says Bugarin. ?We are known for hard work, and that?s why we win.? Bugarin is looking at the U.S. Naval Academy and knows it will be quite a commitment, but says soccer teaches that commitment. He is the son of Terry and and Mary Bugarin.
