Silver Spring, Maryland---Real Maryland FC, a member of the United Soccer Leagues Second Division, is pleased to announce the signing of David Noyes as their new General Manager.

Noyes brings a wealth of experience to the Monarchs. In addition to over twenty five years as a professional soccer player and coach, he has directed soccer programs ranging from youth camps and clinics to collegiate and professional levels. He returns to the D.C. Metropolitan area after a two year stint as an assistant coach with the Carolina Railhawks in Cary, North Carolina, also a member of the United Soccer Leagues.

“I am eager to return to the D.C. Metro area” said Noyes. “I lived and coached soccer in D.C. for a number of years, have strong ties to the soccer community, and have lots of friends and family in the area. It’s great to be moving back to an area which I know is a hotbed for soccer on the East Coast. I can’t wait to go to work.”

Noyes will head up the search committee for the new Head Coach, as well as spearhead the team’s second year marketing and publicity programs. As for the coaching position, Noyes stated, “We’re in the process of setting up interviews right now, and it’s going to be tough to make this decision because the applicants are so qualified but it’s a nice dilemma to be in from the start.”

For additional information about the Monarch’s new GM, do not hesitate to contact David Noyes at [email protected] or call the Real Maryland office at 301-933-6460.
