U-11 REAL MARYLAND:
2010-11 TRYOUTS
We seek players with special quickness, confidence, self-discipline, heartiness & creativity to enjoy highly challenging youth-friendly training & competition! Players must be Born after July 31, 1999.

PLAYING STYLE: Modeling International and Champions Leagues in Artistry, Skillfulness & Athleticism.
PLAYING TIME & POSITION:By Attitude, Ability & Attendance; positions assigned toward long term development: the ability to play any position may be required on future teams.
GAMES & PRACTICES: Games: Saturdays within 35 minutes. Practices:Two weekdays near 270. Winter: One practice & game per week. Summer: relaxed weekly sessions, Two Tournaments/season.
ABOUT THE COACHES: Coach Tim Francis, Ph.D., was trained by national level coaches from England, Holland, Denmark, Ireland, and Brazil, has an Advanced National NSCAA Coaching License, has MD Adv. Professional Teaching Certification., and played all-county Varsity HS, College and Men’s 1st Division in Mont. County. He coached seven players who captained their Varsity teams in 2008. Asst. Coach John Paul SanGiovanni earned All-State (NJ) 1st team in High School, played at NCAA DI NC State and in NYC’s Premier Men’s League.

The U11 Team is coached by: Tim Francis in Montgomery County and David Noyes in Prince George's County
Tim Francis has many years experience in coaching and playing at high school and college level, with professional certifications in teaching PE and school counseling; Ph.D. from University of Maryland with emphasis in methods of achieving flow or the "Zone"; Advanced National NSCAA Diploma ; international training (Dutch, Danish, Irish, Brazilian); many youth tournament finals, and local varsity High School first and second place finishes. Seven Players coached captained their High School Varsity teams in MCPS, 2008. Tim sensitively coaches players according to age, not as hardened professionals. Players make their own playing decisions, enjoy the game, may play in other sports, and have a life outside of soccer!
