Dennis Alas, Promising Salvadorian Player Comes To Real Maryland F.C.

Silver Spring, Md. - This past Thursday, Dec.27th a press conference was held at El Aguila Restaurant in Silver Spring, Maryland. The reason for the conference was to formally introduce to the community, the newest addition to Real Maryland FC, Salvadorian National Team member, Dennis Jonathan Alas. The press conference was well attended and covered by the local media.

Mr. Bienvenido Martinez, Real Maryland General Manager, gave the introduction and greeting to all the members of the local media. He acknowledged gratitude for the continuing support of the community.

Silvino Gonzalo, Head Coach of Real Maryland F.C. explained that with this signing the newest team in the 2nd Division of the USL has a solid structure to which will give a promising Inaugural Season.

Dennis Jonathan Alas Morales is 22 years old and member of the Salvadorian National Team. He was first signed by San Salvador F.C. at the young age of 16. Alas comes from a family of professional soccer players. His brothers play professionally in Argentina and their home country, El Salvador.

Alas has scored a total of 21 goals with the Salvadorian National Team and 34 goals for his last club team, San Salvador F.C.

In his young promising professional career he has already played in two Salvadorian Championships, having won the league championship in 2003. He has played against important National teams such as USA, Paraguay, Ecuador, Canada and Trinidad.

“He is a great addition to this team and the future of professional soccer in the state of Maryland” expressed Victor Moran, Team President.
