Gary Brooks comes to the Monarchs from local rivals Crystal Palace Baltimore. He led all goal scorers at Palace his first year with 7 and was named to the USL 2nd?Division All-League First Team. He also recorded 2 assists that year in his 9 appearances. Last year Brooks was named to the USL 2nd?Division All-League Second Team. Brooks has a remarkable ability to score goals, and Coach Anthony Hudson is elated to have a forward of his caliber. Brooks, a Jamaican International, hopes to continue his goal scoring success in 2009, and lead the Monarch front line much like he did in Baltimore.
